Dr. H. Joseph Naim started his training at USC in Los Angeles graduating with a BA in Biology with honors. He went on to complete his medical training at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York with Distinction in Research, received another four years of training in general surgery at New York Methodist Hospital and then followed his interest in weight loss surgery to a one year fellowship at University Medical Center at Princeton under renowned Bariatric surgeon, Robert E. Brolin, MD.
Dr. Naim started his Los Angeles practice in 2004, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the UC Irvine Medical Center, and has published numerous scientific articles. He is currently a member of multiple surgical societies including the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and Temple Community Hospital where he performs the VSG procedure.
